• Account Credentials: Your email address and a cryptographically salted and one-way hashed password. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
• Authentication Security: Temporary 4-digit One-Time Password (OTP) verification tokens stored with short expiration timestamps.
• User Preferences: Your saved movie and TV series Watchlist and your video playback timestamp (synced automatically to provide "Continue Watching").
• Technical Session Logs: Temporary encrypted session identifiers and network security logs strictly used for session integrity, security protection, and abuse prevention.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data under the following legal frameworks:

• Contractual Necessity: To provide you with active account authentication, access to catalog lists, and streaming playback continuity.
• Legitimate Interests: To detect fraudulent brute-force login attempts, safeguard server stability, and prevent unauthorized service abuse.
• Consent: Where you have explicitly opted into performance analytics or third-party embed integrations via our Cookie & Consent Preferences modal.

4. Third-Party Integrations & Embeds

Our web application interfaces with the following categories of external services:

• External Content Metadata APIs: Provides movie and TV show titles, overviews, artwork, backdrop imagery, and community rating statistics. No personal user credentials, email addresses, or private watch history are transmitted to metadata providers.
• Embedded Streaming Player: Video playback is delivered via an external embedded media player iframe. The streaming player may utilize essential temporary browser storage to deliver media chunks and synchronize audio/video tracks. We provide an embed consent safeguard in our player to permit you to control third-party frame loading at any time.

5. Cookies & Tracking Controls

We provide a comprehensive, interactive consent management banner and preferences modal. You have the right to accept or decline non-essential cookies at any time:

6. Data Retention & Security

All account records and watch progress are stored in secured database storage with strict file permission controls. Session data is expired in accordance with standard web session lifecycles. OTP codes expire automatically after 10 minutes and cannot be reused.
